Scenic Sunday #67 / Fall Color on Mt. Baldy, California

I took my dog for a mountain outing not far from our home. The intent was to find some nice fall color, and we did! There isn't much sign of fall down here on the "flatland." But, boy...what a difference a few miles up to the 4000-7000 ft. level makes! These are only 8 of the loads of photos I took. I could go on and on...but, I won't. Although, I will put them on other posts because I just can't stop!

You really captured the beauty of fall colors! As I wrote to you in the email, I also went to photograph the fall colors. I am going to post some of them in my blog soon.

Hi Ms Carol, had I known that I could find these beauty in Mt Baldy, I would not have driven that far to Fawnskin and Big Bear. It was such a drive. Your photos are just as lovely as mine.

I went up to Mt Baldy a few years ago in the winter but did not get that much snow.

Maybe I could pop up there someday, but then I am scared of the winding road!
