If heaven had a highway this would be it!
This is the beautiful Hana Highway (highway 360) that leads to Hana, Maui, Hawaii.
The road to Hana is two lanes with lots of one-lane bridges. Tourist literature says there are 600 turns, though I don't know exactly how they classify a turn since the road is NEVER straight.
Waterfalls tumble from the mountains, one after another, along the way.

...so many places to stop along the way to soak up the beauty...

never been to hawaii, but always associated paradise with that place.
It really is Paradise when even the Highway looks as beautiful as that does!

Oh yes, I recall this trip very well ! I think the longest straight stretch might have been 200 yards. My wife almost got car sick on the way back - in the dark - because she got disoriented due to all the turns. Beautiful sights all along the road - including the black sand beaches.

Mom was telling me a story the other day about this man & his daughter walking along & watching the stars, etc. & the lil girl said something about it being so beautiful down here under Heaven & how she can't imagine what it must look like IN HEAVEN!
I would love to experience this road some day.
