We spent a night in the Blue Mountains (Katoomba) in NSW, Australia.
This is Echo Point...a gorgeous valley with craggy rock formations that we were NOT able to see!
My husband strolls over to join the other tourists who believe they see something...hmmm!
I have been wanting to do some 'foggy' photography but not at the expense of missing some of Australia's iconic scenery!
This is a candid image of someone I do not know...

Well you did get some great foggy photo Carolyn. Sorry to hear you missed the gorgeous valley. From the last photo it looks like that fog might have been a little chilly.
The first shot is really good!
Nice captures in spite of the rain and fog...I've been to picturesque tourist spots before and couldn't see a thing because of the weather! LOL...that's Mother Nature for you! Gotta love her rain or shine!
Well, these win the days award for foggiest captures!! Amazing and you did indeed capture the feeling! I love them! Looks as though you're having a great trip -- in spite of the fog, Carolyn! Hope you had a great Christmas and wishing your a very Happy Fog-less New Year!

I agree with the others, you certainly caught the foggy feeling there, alright.
Wishing you and yours all the best for the coming year.

You certainly did capture the fog. Hope it clears up for you.
The firs shot is so Japanese, quite delightful.
I know the place well and am sorry you had to see it like this although it makes for good fog shots.
Hope you could stick around to see the Three Sisters after the weather cleared.
The famous Blue Mountain fogs seem alive and well! Many times I spent a weekend in the mountains and there was amazing fog in the morning and then it would clear about 10:00am! Bu these photos have a very special beauty!
What a shame you missed seeing the three sisters at Katoomba. Really is quite a sight.
