I too would love to know more about the colorful flags, what purpose for them other than making a great photo? :-) When I saw this shot I thought that it would be one that a painter would be interested in capturing on canvas.

A most unusual beach view! Love all those flags like tall folded umbrellas! We have a rainy, cold summer on the Mornington Peninsula too!
