I got this shot a few weeks ago at the Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park in Caravonica, Queensland, Australia.
Looks like success!

Another wonderful image, Carolyn.
I finally have time to sit at the computer an savor you're posts of Australia. All are wonderful, you really are an excellent photographer.
I'm wondering about the underwater shots, do you have a special camera, an underwater case? I have tried the throw-a-way underwater cameras and found them unsatisfactory. Your images are great.
Awesome shot! I would love to watch a demonstration like that!
So, are you still in Australia? Looks like you have been there a while. Coming back? Happy New Year to you and your family. Here at our place in Indiana, we celebrate with the Londoners. That way we don't have to stay up till the wee hours. :) Well, if you are still in Aussieland, you did all the celebrating twenty hours ago, or so.
Pics are amazing!:D
Love them all!
Nice blog ;)

Oh, this is very special. And great series.
My best wishes to you and your family for 2012.

I love this series of shots Carolyn. Those guys actually make it look easy. I tried that one time and it is hard, I hope I never have to use that skill. If so it could be a long, cold night.
Happy New Year!
Wonderful photos, Carolyn. What a great adventure for you.
All the best to the Ford family in 2012.

How cool, what an interesting thing to see. You did have a great trip. WOnderful photos.
Great photos and the guys look fit and splendid for the performance . Nice costumes and beautifully painted bodies, most unlike the real thing in the bush where natives went naked and when painted, were daubed with finger smudges. Nothing like idealising 'the naked savage', but a beautifully staged performance to watch.
What a great set of shots. Must have been so interesting to watch. Happy New Year.
Beautiful pics. My OWT is up too.
Happy New Year from New Zealand.
