ABC Wednesday (T), Watery Wednesday, Outdoor Wednesday / Wai'anapanapa Black Sand Beach, Maui, Hawaii

Click on photos to enlarge.
T is for turbulent waters at Wai'anapanapa Black Sand Beach on Maui, Hawaii.

This is a wonderful beach to spend the day when the water is calm.
Some people ventured down to get a closer look while my husband and I were walking along the bluff above.
Sea arches, caves and lava tubes are fun to explore in this area of southeastern Maui.

 Watching the water hit the rocks was very entertaining!

Gorgeous shots Carolyn ! I love wild waves crashing on rocks. We went to a black sand beach when in Maui - I went for a swim while my wife watched, but the waves weren't this wild ! That sand sure was hot though !!

Beautiful beaches! I could watch that all day easily.(especially since I'd be warmer than I am on the Oregon Coast!)

These photos are very impressive. The waves are really crashing at the rocks! I often go out to take pictures at the mouth of the river. I also like watching splashing waves there.

PRAISING WATER

Water here and water there,
Water, water everywhere!
Water to restore the soul,
Water in a cup or bowl;
Water gushing in the sink,
Water clear or dark as ink;
Water in the stream and bog,
Water for the newt and frog;
Water to refresh the wheat,
Water washing dusty feet;
Water chasers everywhere
With loud praises do declare
That there is no finer thing—
Water is both queen and king!
