I see the hula dancer... hehe.. It is a beautiful picture of the tree with the sky in the background. I remember many years ago visiting the Islands and Maui was my favorite.

The tree gives the impression that the wind is blowing 80 MPH but the people seem unfazed, what a great shot.

Very unusual. You can tell which the prevailing wind blows.

The tree looks windblown!

A MAN WHO LOOKED UP AT THE SKY

A man who looked up at the sky
Saw ravens and clouds flying by.
He had to look up,
The sky filled his cup—
He’s my kind of sky-watching guy!

Good shot...even the trees adapt to the prevailing trade winds as your photo shows...but the people never bend...lol.

Sometimes nature just adds a little something extra to her picture. This one she let the wind create a very pretty sight.

After enlarging it and seeing the couple beneath the tree, reminded me of Omar Khayyam's poem with the jug of wine, loaf of bread and thee line, though it does look like the two have had enough of each other, at least for the moment. (Tks for coming by and commenting on the 'after dinner' shot - I too like the photos of people doing what they do.)
