Although we are heading into spring, there is an air of Christmas with those green and red colors. Thanks for sharing this marching musical journey. :)
Great capture! I really like hearing bagpipes when they're outdoors, but not when they're played inside a gymnasium as part of a Christmas band concert. You can probably tell that I've had experience with that!
Great composition! This photo reminds me of my one-month stay in Edinburgh about 20 years ago. Also now I remeber that I saw many people wearing something green when I visited a little town in Nevada in 2004. coator
This photo is lovely. Those aren't my feet but I am actually a part of this band (42nd Highlanders Pipes and Drums, Long Beach, CA). Would you mind if I posted this on my blog with a link to your blog? I'm actually compiling some video and pics of the band and would love to include this one. Let me know. I'm hoping to have the post up tomorrow. Thanks! -Katie K:

An Irish Festival sounds like fun. I love the kilts and the fancy boots, too.
I just love the different kilt fabrics, fabulous!
Great shot Carolyn, you really captured the flavor of the event in this one photo. The festival sounds like lots of fun, I love bagpipes.
Great job with this and the brooms, your artistic eye shines with your photography.
Terrific, Carolyn! You do have so much artistic talent! Always a delight to see your photos and this week is one of the best! Have a great week!

Great shot and how perfectly appropriate for this week! May you have a all the blessings of the Irish this week! (and none of their financial woes!)

I love listening to the bagpipes. Plus nice to see a nice pair of legs.
Lovely shot of the kilts and boots, Carolyn. Many people don't know the Irish have pipes and tartans and kilts, similar to the Scots.

Great composition and framing. You have been quick in capturing this. I wonder how the whole uniform would look like.
