Weekend Reflections, Scenic Sunday, Ruby Tuesday / Float Plane

This is the first float plane I saw on my recent trip to Alaska.
We stopped in Moose Pass for lunch and I was delighted to see this lovely red plane waiting...
I have to say that the float planes were high on my priority list to photograph while there!
I ♥ Alaska!

Nice pic... Now that I see the effect on the water, I understand why taking a picture of float plane was so high on your to-do-in-Alaska list... Thanks for the sharing, Carolyn !

Terrific reflections for the day, Carolyn! I love seaplanes! My son took me on a flight over Seattle in one a couple of years ago for my birthday! What fun that was!! Hope you have a great weekend!

This takes me back to the days I took a plane like this to get to my sister's place on the coast north of Vancouver. Nice shot with a nice red reflection, Carolyn.

I like the red reflections of the plane in the wind-buffeted water. It's a great picture - and looks like a lot of fun!

I don't often see these. I think they are cool, but I wouldn't want to fly in one!

Once, when I stayed in Vancouver, at the Pan Pacific Hotel, with a room that fronted right on the harbor, I watched in awe as float planes constantly took off and landed and as cruise ship docked and sailed right underneath my window. It was marveous!

Hi Carolyn,

Don't blame ya one bit for wanting to photograph them so badly, but did you get to ride in one? =)
