Photostory Friday / "Up and Over"

Our neighbors decided to sell the shed they had in their backyard for many years. The only way to get it out of the yard was "up and over" the house. It was very entertaining for those of us lucky enough to be home to watch this precision work!

Distracted by Shiny Things / Flat Bed Semi Truck

This shiny green "flatbed" truck hauled a very large shed away from our neighbor's house today. The shed was hoisted over the top of the house by a crane! It was rather amusing to watch! Our 2 year old grandson was in heaven as he watched for a good hour! Now, that is a good attention span for a 2 year old!

That's My World Tuesday / Day Trips with Chase

We take care of our 2 year old grandson while his mommy and daddy work during the week. We are always on the go looking for fun things to do and places to visit. We have played with colored chalk on the driveway, played in the hay and a really fun wooden train at the Los Angeles County Fair. Chase likes to play in my neighbor's front yard with all of the Halloween decorations now! They really go all out for Halloween! It is one classy and scary place! We drove out to Oak Glen today. It is considered apple country but they have fields of pumpkins too! Chase really liked checking out the pumpkins. We bought mommy and daddy some nice apples. Won't they be surprised!

I wonder what we will do tomorrow?

Scenic Sunday / Palm Desert, California

Shadow Mountain Ridge Resort at Palm Desert, California

We stayed at this lovely resort last March while attending the Stagecoach Festival in Indio, California. It was a weekend of country music and everything country! The weather is cooling down now (somewhat) and we are dying to get back to the desert to do some hiking.

She is one special little lady! ♥

Today's Flowers / Sunflowers in October

Our neighborhood still has lovely sunflowers in early October. I took these photos while on a walk with my little grandson and our pooch.

Photostory Friday / Walking in the Neighborhood

My 2 year old grandson likes to take walks with our 12 year old pooch around the neighborhood. He likes to find rocks to play with along the way and he especially likes the circus train in a neighbor's yard. This circus train is really colorful during the holidays!
