Beautiful photo but what a dangerous place to take photos. Nice shadows too.

o how I miss shadow shots! My xar had on the perfect tutu for a shadow shot yesterday, but I missed the opportunity, by the time I got the camera out, the sun was gone! That's life, I guess!

The undersides of piers are much overlooked - or should that be underlooked? Great shot!

This looks great. I took some pictures from the same place when I was in OC last month but it was right in the middle of a storm. I had to be quick so and not get soaked. I think yours is better.

This is a view that can be rugged at high tide with crashing waves. Or like here, a gentle style with the briny foam swirling around the posts. A nice picture of a fine Golden state beach...

I love the perspective you caught in this photo. The green color of the ocean is pretty. Great shot.

VERY effective. I wonder about the build-up of fossils on the poles, does it weaken or strengthen them, I wonder.

I haven't looked around here for a while--I'm commenting on this post because it appealed to me the most. I think going under bridges and piers makes for very interesting pictures. The sandpipers and sand castlers are neat, too.
Thanks for coming by!
