Lions Light House for Sight @ Rainbow Harbor, Long Beach, California USA.

This faux light house was built in 2000 as a symbol of the fund raising that has been done by the Lions Club for the visually impaired.

The harbor office is located at the bottom of the tower.

It is a white conical tower during the day but, glows with amazing colors at night.

The sky was a brilliant orange 2 nights ago.

I thought the blue light was absolutely dazzling against this intense sky about 25 minutes after sunset.

The Grand Canyon's magnificent colors! This photo was taken this past Saturday, November 21, 09 in the mid-morning hours...it was quite chilly but the sky was blue and the sun was lighting up the scene! These photos were taken near the Bright Angel trail-head on the South Rim.
