ABC Wednesday / "S" and "T"

Jerry and I spent the late afternoon walking on the beach and checking out the tide-pools at Crystal Cove, Newport Coast, California.
We weren't alone as many people came to the beach to spend family time together for Memorial Day.
I realized I had not posted an "S" for last week.

And, look what I found...an S for seaweed!
How great is that?!

Of course the beach is full of sand and shells!

We came upon a scene that was very sentimental for this Memorial Day.
Someone propped up a flag and left it on this rock for all to remember what this day is about.

This family spent some time near the rock after viewing the U.S. flag.

It wasn't long before a fisherman  joined the flag on the rock.

...and then, later in the day, the most sentimental scene of all.
Memorial Day June 31, 2010.

The theme is T this week.
...and, S from last week.

Watery Wednesday / Lone Surfboard in the Tidepools

I hope this doesn't mean what my 1st thought was.
The day after the storm and tsunami warning from the 8.8 earthquake in Chile.
