A nice day in San Diego!

We were walking to the pier at Imperial Beach when I spotted this umbrella.

I can't resist a colorful beach umbrella...ever!

So, I just took them out!

It's hot here and walking on the beach is the best remedy and another good excuse to photograph beach umbrellas!

Edited Beach Umbrellas (August 15, 2009)

I am new to Adobe Photoshop and find it quite challenging to learn. I am dealing with the most simple edits for now. I think I improved these 3 photos which I posted a week ago. I lightened the shadows and darkened the contrast...mighty simple tweaks compared what other people do with Photoshop! But...here they are again!

Doheny Beach (August 7-10, 2009)

I had a very nice weekend at Doheny Beach with my friend, Sally. She was very patient with my picture-taking and I was very patient with her shopping addiction...but, we both can never get enough of the gorgeous views of the ocean. The weather was beautiful. The sky was beautiful. The water was beautiful...a perfect weekend at the beach...and, the umbrellas...wow!...gorgeous colors!
