I saw this red boat at the Cabrillo Marina in San Pedro, California last week. It also created a nice reflection in the water.

That's My World Tuesday / Making Pumpkin Spiders

It's nearly Halloween and the enthusiasm is kicking into high gear now. My little 2 year old grandson knows he's going to be a pirate and so is his daddy! His mommy will be a wench! They will go to a Halloween party where everyone will be in a costume. This will be his best Halloween yet!

We spent the morning outside on the patio making pumpkin spiders! I got the idea from my blogging friend, Shannon! Thank you Shannon! Chase really liked punching holes in the little pumpkins and sticking pipe cleaners into them to make 8 legs! Wow! He now knows that spiders have 8 legs...Then he glued on eyes! Very simple and a whole lot of fun...But, Grandma helped too!

Blue Monday / Metrolink Sculpture

This outdoor sculpture was found at one of our local Metrolink (commuter trains) Station. It was a beautiful warm fall day in Southern California with lots of blue sky and sunshine. I think this sculpture punctuates the scene beautifully!
I liked shooting several different perspectives of it.

These photos were taken in my local mountain area of Mt. Baldy, California. We can only find fall colors right now in the higher elevations (4,000-7,000 ft.) Our really nice colors down here at low elevations will appear closer to the Thanksgiving holiday.

Scenic Sunday #67 / Fall Color on Mt. Baldy, California

I took my dog for a mountain outing not far from our home. The intent was to find some nice fall color, and we did! There isn't much sign of fall down here on the "flatland." But, boy...what a difference a few miles up to the 4000-7000 ft. level makes! These are only 8 of the loads of photos I took. I could go on and on...but, I won't. Although, I will put them on other posts because I just can't stop!
