This bird feeder is in my friend's backyard. She has two of these hanging feeders which attract a lot of attention. These beautiful feathered critters are having a feast on a very rainy day! I shot these through a window and I struggled with the focus.

So many goldfinches on one feeder! I've hung two niger feeders so there's not so much fighting over the one.
I need a feeder like that! Pretty birds, aren't they?
Carolyn: What a colorful group of birds at the feeder.
You must have mounted a magnet in that feeder :-)
Lots of american goldfinch eating thistle..I have them at my feeders also.. My CC is of a deer misbehaving...Michelle
I had finch feeders last summer for the first time. It's amazing to watch at just how many can feed at one of these.
Windows are not always our best friends but you did well Carolyn!
For me it's either through the window or I don't get nearly the number of bird shots I'd like. :)
Beautiful finches and nice shots!

Cool feeders! I guess you would put suet in something like that? Beautiful birds, too, of course! :)
Oh, look at them they're having some feast. Great shot.
Wow, that's a lot of them!
Please take a peek at the Mocking Bird at my page.
Excellent collection of models!
I like to use the window as a blind too, but it can be challanging.
The improvised doggy rain coat is great as are the very colorful socks. As usual, you've been posting a lot of great shots.
What a busy bird feeder! You must be tempting them with something super delicious!
these are wildly wonderful!j
Nice shots of the lovely goldfinches.
Beautiful goldfinches. One feeder attracted a whole flock!
Great shot of the Goldfinches. I have the same feeder outside my window.
