I am a retired middle school teacher (math and science). I love to photograph beautiful places, people, animals and objects of art. My picture shows me holding my 1st grandson. We are at San Diego's Wild Animal Park. He is looking at the big gorilla behind us! We enjoy going places while his mommy and daddy work.

The bare branches of the tree reminded me of a growing fractal pattern. Set against the bare rock it held a surrealistic impression for me.
This photo says a million things in monochrome! Well done!
A well balanced monochrome, and the tree has so many wonderful patterns. I like it.
I love this photo, it really is quite wonderful.
I like this one ... great mono!
What an interesting presentation and very dramatic in B&W.

wow, neat tree. That looks great in black and white!
Great perspective, the tree is perfect for monochrome. I do see the tiny bit of life between the rocks.
Is a dramatic photo, Carolyn. The West is so full of Nature's beauty - awesome and dramatic. Such wealth.
That's a fantastic shot. I love it!
