Shadow Shot Sunday / Joshua Tree National Park, California USA

There are many intriguing shadows on the desert.
These were found on the loop trails of  Hidden Valley (top photo) and Barker Dam (bottom) at
Joshua Tree National Park, California USA

The desert seems like rock and scrub in our minds. Yet in these photos, the dry terrain allows for stunning scenery like the mount of stone and the bent tree are unique under the dry but very blue sky!

Interesting contrast between the two shadows! The first shadows seem to whisper while the shadows in the second shot seem dramatic, demanding attention!
