Weekend Reflections - Pier Wall

This is a cement wall alongside the pier at Seal Beach, California USA.
First the colors caught my eye and then the reflections in the wet sand convinced me it was "camera" time.

There is so much beach for play, but some prefer to be up against this wall...hmmm, go figure...

That's a bit like a modern painting, I like it!

I love these shots, particularly the second one with the children playing in the surf. The colors and clarity are great.

I like the way the pier reaches so far out into the water.

I like the colors on the concrete. I wasn't expecting rust!

The rust gives some fantastic colours and effects.

I, too, would have been drawn to the textures and reflections. Two of my favorites!

You were right it was camera time. I'm intrigued by reflections in wet sand.

Lovely reflections Carolyn -- I'm intrgued by the kids playing near the abandoned structure -- maybe part of a lets-pretend game? Or maybe they liked just having a boundary.

I think I would feel a bit claustrophobic so close to the wall, wide open spaces for me.

Great shots. Not where you would expect such an interesting reflection.

is the pier rusting? I won't want to walk on it if it is the case.
