SkyWatch Friday & Looking at the Sky on Friday - Lamp Post Standing on Sandia Peak, Albuquerque, New Mexico USA

This lamp stands on Sandia Peak over Albuquerque, New Mexico during the "blue" hour following sunset.
Sandia Peak is 10,378 feet in elevation that affords a magnificent view of the city and valley below, both day and night.
We were enjoying the night view as we waited for the tram (or) gondola to return to the top of the mountain to carry us back down.
I couldn't take my eyes off this lamp...

Over 10000 ft has to take your breath away with a bit of oxygen deprivation. Yet this blue sky has the same effect. How beautiful!

If I was there, I would probably be mesmerized by that lamp, too. It's a lovely photo. So, this is what the blue hour is about. Thanks.

It's the full moon sitting on a post. I just wonder how you got it up there in the first place. A beauty, Carolyn.
