Today's Flowers, Mellow Yellow, Camera Critters / Hello MOO Cow!

I am loving that this MOO COW is standing by yellow flowers and all dressed up with yellow tags on her ears.
I stopped my car and approached carefully so not to scare her away.
I wish more of her face was showing, but, she kept a good eye on me as I came closer.

Mellow Yellow Monday / Believe it or Not!

Believe it or not...we still have some sunflowers around here! I found these in mid-October down around the dairy farms south of where I live in southern California. Some are still blooming in my neighborhood (as I speak, or write this).

PhotoHunter / Free Week

I spent an afternoon driving around this area looking for abandoned houses, barns, and broken down fences. I found a lot to photograph. This is just one...I have more to share soon.

This old abandoned barn is in the dairy country of Chino, California. Dairy farms were once thriving way of life here but, now, many have been taken over by housing developments and other businesses. This land, I am sure, will be a housing development in the near future! Sadly, this old photogenic and abandoned barn will be gone and the historical value of this area will go with it.
