A Play Date for Three Year Olds

My three year old grandson has an end of summer play date with my friend's three year old granddaughter.

a little fun at Chucky Cheese and then some pizza and a cup of tokens!

a tunnel slide...

and, a pint sized carousel!

Off to the water park...they called this the "car wash".

 cupcakes for two little cupcakes!

Outdoor Wednesday / Chase and Moon Sand

In between rainstorms has brought us brilliant sunny days with pleasant temperatures.
We enjoyed playing with "Moon Sand" on our patio.
I learned the HARD way...Moon Sand BELONGS outside!
This amused my grandson for about 30 minutes and then it was back to the wheel toys on the sidewalk!

One last shot...through the screen door!

Blue Monday and Midweek Blues / Boys will be Boys!

I spent the afternoon with extended family and friends.
I didn't know little Zechariah could fly...
Wait until his mother and Grandma Debbie see THESE photos!
Boys will be boys!

He did land safely...Whew!

ABC Wednesday / "D"

These kinds of scenes disturb me in a very big way.
I watched this for quite some time from the pier.
This little guy was playing in a very dangerous ocean without a close eye on him.
Thankfully, a disastrous situation didn't happen...this time.

Blue Monday, Mellow Yellow Monday, Ruby Tuesday, Midweek Blues / Playday at the Beach

I took my little grandson to Seal Beach last week.
He really liked playing in the small sandy playground.
I love it when he gets "really" dirty!
He has sand all over his face...
Some people were eating nearby, which was the same as throwing the welcome mat out for the pigeons and sea gulls to arrive right on schedule!
Little Chase was delighted!
I noticed the hand crafted tiles that lined the short wall of this playground,
which were obviously created by children of various ages...
and, a few adults.

and, I did just that...It was a beautiful sunny February day at the beach!

and, this was just too cute to pass up!
The dates indicate these tiles have been hanging in there for a few years.
