Mellow Yellow Monday and Ruby Tuesday / Fun at the Venetian, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

Someone's pulling strings at the Venetian, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
February 14, 2010
Valentine's Day

"You stop that, Big Guy!"

This show was an Italian Opera (short version) and really reminded me of the "Masked Ball" in the Phantom of the Opera .

"I'm done...where are those escalators?"
"It's my job to keep people amused and laughing!
Ahh...here are the escalators!
I'll be back later!"

Love the Venetian. We usually go eat breakfast there at least once when we stay in Vegas. Phantom of the Opera is the best show I have seen in Vegas!

That looks like fun. There is a lot to see in Vegas. If only they didn't allow smoking.

Wouldn't it be fun to walk on stilts and be so tall?

I love people loving what they do and these folks look like they do.
That guy sure has a great view!

I have never seen a life-sized puppet like this before...The costumes are striking, the look of the past, way long ago. The Olde English styles are lovely, with plenty of rubies about. And the man on stilts demands our attention. Nice captures!

Cool post. I never could understand how those people can walk on stilts! My fear of heights would be a problem if I tried.
