Killaloe - River Shannon Cruise - Part 3

The homes are beautiful, everything is so clean and tidy...everything!

We are back at the docking area in Killaloe.
It was a wonderful way to spend about an hour.
Wow!
It sure looks like it's going to rain!

Killaloe - Cruising the River Shannon - Part 2

The River Shannon becomes a lake (Lough Derg) about a half hour from where we began in Killaloe.

Breathtaking Scenery

We are turning around and heading back to the beginning.

Beautiful homes!

Killaloe - River Shannon Cruise - Part 1

We cruised on the River Shannon for about an hour. The views were spectacular!

The water was perfect for some nice reflections.

Our boat driver wears a jacket. It was a chilly and cloudy day. I was wishing I had brought a jacket instead of just a sweatshirt.
It was breezy on the boat!

There are small  boat docks with some nice boats along the way.

Very nice river-side homes too!

The River Shannon originates from the Shannon Pot which is an underground cave. The water emerges from a 2m fissure and travels 360.5 km (224 miles) to the Atlantic Ocean.
The River Shannon is the longest river in Ireland.

Killaloe - Waiting for Our Turn

We took a beautiful cruise on the River Shannon in County Clare, Ireland.
The boat is coming back from the cruise ahead of us, we're next.

There's our boat making it's way back to the dock.

Kiwi Zone - Queenstown, New Zealand

 No dogs here!
Kiwis are nocturnal and rarely seen in the wild during daylight hours...many visitors visit preserves to enjoy them.

We were told that the burgers here are to die for!
A big dinner on the lake was planned for that evening so we passed on the temptation to indulge.

kind of a cute boat...
