ABC Wednesday / "O"

I found this old shoe on the Mt. Baldy mountain road in southern California. Is it yours?

ABC Wednesday / theme is "O"

A mystery boot! Very intriguing. You could plant a flower in it. :)

Fabulous shot! It raises all sorts of questions, sadly never to be answered.

Great old boot photo. I often see a lone shoe or trainer and wonder why is that there and where is the other one, weird.

It looks like a very well loved boot, I'm surprised it wasn't missed.

What IS the story?

Song recalled: Old Brown Shoe by The Beatles.

Original photo. I've often wondered about the singletons that hang around.

I'll bet there is a great story attached to the old shoe, don't you?

Hi from ABC Wed. I'm rather new. Cool photo! That shoe has lots of character and still looks very serviceable! Nice closeup.
(I must share this with my teenage daughter who wonders why I photograph lone objects. We were at a farm and I photographed a lonely pink sneaker.)

I love the photo! But no, not mine. I don't do the hiking thing .. but after our recent visit to the US, we're both planning to get fit and do it next time! Such beautiful country, and you miss so much, sticking to the roads!

Good luck with finding the owner! LOL!
