We hiked in Palm Canyon near Palm Springs last weekend. Palm Canyon is part of the Indian Canyons region of the southern California, and quite scenic. These rocks are invite you to climb through to take a peak on the other side.
and...so we did. This is my husband leading the way (as usual).
This is what is on the other side. A lot of water tumbles down this chute during the spring and early summer months from melting snow in the higher elevations. We have been here during this time. But, the winter months are dry. You can see how the heavy water flow has eroded the rocks over time. It's cool and shady here on a hot day.
The rock formations and sky create amazing photo opportunities!
