This old deserted out building can be found on the road to Indian Canyons just south of Palm Springs, California, on South Palm Canyon Road. We hiked in Palm Canyon just this past weekend. The winter months are so perfect for desert hiking.

All it counts is the photographer, Even this ruin turned out a beautiful photo. I like the colors and the backlight.
What a cool structure, great catch.
What a pretty roof it has. The windows are elegant, too. Looks like a nice area for hiking.
Carolyn, windows and doors all gone! Wonder what the building was used for? Could have been a nice little office, no? :)
That's a wonderful photo. Has me wondering about the stories it could tell.
Nice one. Complete see through house.
The walls have stood the test of time, but the glass windows must have found someone to throw the first stone.
Although its a window meme, but I just can't help admire the blending colors of the tiled roof!
Oh what I would do to be in southern california right now.
Your picture is interesting. Nice post, and if I ever go past that area again, I will look for it.
very pretty scene!
so like the typical spanish architectural style of this little gem... tile roof and stucco finish :)
of course one has to wonder what it was used for?
A great subject for a window view.
I enjoyed your hike in Palm Canyon, I do miss the SC winter hiking. We should schedual a trip to the desert for some hiking this winter.
When we go to visit the kids we are so anxious to get out of the city we head straight home.
That's a wonderful subject for this meme. You hit both doors and windows.
what a great old building. I love how the frames are still in the windows, although the glass is gone.
Wonderful Capture. Love this old building . It may be abandoned and located in an out of the way place but, it still has lots of color and charm.
Would love to see this restored. Perhaps relocated to another area and turned into a quant shop.
