My little grandson stopped his sand play to observe the lifeguard truck driving down the beach.
He offered a shell to me that he found in the sand.
"Here he comes, we better get out of the way!"
It must be nice spending the day just driving up and down the sand along the ocean.
"He's back...I guess we don't have to get out of the way."
The pier is over the water and my head!

Hello again Carolyn. The old building in my photos is part of the homestead that is being used as a hostel. It looks like it's a storage shed. The actual house that people stay in is also very old but much larger and in way better condition. It's a very interesting place since it's away from everything in the middle of a state park.

Is he going to be a volunteer lifeguard when he grows up? We have a lot of them here, especially school kids when they turn 15.
