The upper, mid, and lower falls.
The melting ice up above is feeding these falls.
They will become even more thunderous in later April, May and June.
This is another view of the upper falls.
A closer view.
and...closer yet.

The falls are so beautiful and perfect for monochrome. I like the way you showed them in a full view and then the closer views to get a feel of the water pouring down.
I love the bottom shot especially. In the late 80s we took Easter trips on three separate years to highest falls in Wales - Pistyll Rhaedr - I suspect this is much bigger but it reminds me of that.
Oh my word! Spectacular, especially the first one!
wowwwwwwwww,an excellent capture...so beautiful..
These are just stunning photos my friend. I love them. Monochrome is one of my favorites. They almost look surreal. Well done. Have a wonderful Friday :)
So beautiful! I particularly like the first, and the third has such lovely balance.
A beautiful series, where the white in the water really makes it the focal point. Good work!
You found lots of water in Yosemite Falls and in Mirror Lake. When we were there in the fall both were dry. We expect that and so try to go in Spring as well. The two seasons are very different.
Gorgeous photos again this week.
Spectacular photo and place...
Wish you and your family a Happy Easter
Beautiful black and whites! Nice job with this series.
Oh,wow! Those are awesome shots! I can't WAIT till we return there in June! Last June there were so many waterfalls!!! By August, most had dried up.
I so want to go to Yosemite! I love the views and I've always want to meet my favorite cartoon character, Yosemite Sam ;-)
Wow! Spectacular shots of falls. I love taking pictures of falls. I have never took falls monochrome, but they are gorgeous!
Breath-taking! I love Nature photos!

A waterfall in monochrome - this inspired me!!!
Magnificent shots and they are wonderful in monochrome. :)
