Oh, I love the second one!! Talk about a quirky shadow!! The first one is so soft and lovely! What a great pair of shots for the day! Hope you have a wonderful weekend, Carolyn!

The desert seems like rock and scrub in our minds. Yet in these photos, the dry terrain allows for stunning scenery like the mount of stone and the bent tree are unique under the dry but very blue sky!
Super photos - and now I have U2 singing in my head!!
Great shot! is that Joshua in the background. hehe ;)
Happy SSS to you.
First one is a little fuzzy, but the second can really set your imagination off on a trot...
Love the second shot!

What a beautiful place for shadow shots!
Interesting contrast between the two shadows! The first shadows seem to whisper while the shadows in the second shot seem dramatic, demanding attention!
Never been there, but it is on my 'list'...I especially love that second shot! What a doozy!
What great shots, I love the second one, and I also have a U2 song playing in my head.
Your pics are great but deserts are not for me - I don't like snakes...
Have a great SSS!

Joshua trees have wonderful "personalities" - this one with it's shadow in particular.
I absolutely love all the Joshua Tree National Park posts! The rocky sceneries are just out of this world and the photos are fantastic!
Fantastic shadows!!! In lieu of the tree, I'll be listening to that album by U2 today!
Wow! Great shadow shots! They look like a family holding hands together!
