I wanted to stay long enough to catch the different levels of light during the sunset.
Storm clouds were coming in, but, they didn't produce any rain here.
It rained overnight at my house (an hour away), though.
That dark cloud really hid the light for awhile!
What a great place to walk, jog or ride bikes...but, you have to stay on the path since this is a nature preserve area.

this looks like such a cool spot for birds :) Love the pictures with the different lighting, very nice! it keeps raining here all day and then the sun will come out for 20 minutes...and then it'll hail or rain again, evil weather! :)

I am impresed with the atomosphere of this place including different level of lights in the photos. It must be visited by many wild birds, too.

Those are such beautiful shots at the bay. I like the first golden one and then how the last two have a silvery feel to them.
the lightning is great as well as the photos of the interesting area. sure is a nice place for walks

You captured the progression of the sunset from orangy to dark. How long did that take.
We are in Autumn but it looks like winter. at 6.30pm, the sky is already dark.
