Window Views and Doors Too / Our View of the Merced River, El Portal, California USA

We spent nearly a week in Yosemite National Park a few weeks ago.
We got a room at the Yosemite View Lodge in El Portal, California, which is just 2 miles outside the west entrance to the national park.
This was our view of the Merced River from the inside of our room.
This is only 1/2 of the window.
We left it open a few inches at night so we could hear the thunderous sound of the water, even though the temperature was down in the 30's.
Sitting out on the balcony was heavenly.
