Amazing how that image looks like a painting,. It definitely tells a story!

It's a shame they didn't have blue water to balance on, isn't it?

Fun image, though, especially with the sailboat on the other side of that wall!

You did an impressive balancing act as well by fulfilling all three prompts in one photo

You covered a lot of ground with that one photo. Great job- But today's Tuesday isn't it? Anyway I'll bet it's a real trick to keep those balanced.

Interesting shot! Is the water in different levels in front of and behind the stones?

That boulder rocks are good to catch tiny crabs and shells. I used to do that when I was a kid hehe! Thanks for the visit!

I saw this type of water sport the first time only in May, while we were in Hawaii.

I never get tired of places like Dana Point and Laguna Beach. Perfect spots for picture taking.

The blue of the sails and the red shirt are so striking against the grey of the sky and rock! Very pretty picture! Happy Outdoor Wednesday! Sherri : )

Great photo and I bet that is hard to do!!

I've watched people doing this. I think it would take about two seconds for me to land in the water if I tried it.

Not for me thank you. I did notice that the rock formation right in front of them (the tannish one) looks like a large leatherback sea turtle trying to climb to the top. Since I love sea turtles that just jumped out of the picture for me.

those are some big rocks..I assume it is a breakwater?

Dana Point is gorgeous and what a great balancing action shot you grabbed! Thank you :)

Love this shot, Carolyn, but I don't think I would try this type of boating! The red always commands attention in a photo, but that bit of blue peeking out from behind the rocks is also pretty showy. The rocks themselves make a nice pattern!

Linnea said...

Looks like so much fun! I love how you captured this with a bit of the blue sail peeking out from behind the breaker wall. Excellent shot!

eileeninmd said...

Great capture! I would really have trouble trying to balance on a surfboard.

They look like they've done this before! Lovely colours - especially the rocks - oh, and the sailboat, of course!

As a basically imbalanced kind of guy, this is way out of my league. But they look like they have it down pretty good.

On behalf of the ABC Wednesday Team, thank you for joining us for Round Seven. I am looking forward to seeing your posts each week, as we work our way through the alphabet.

the soft vignette definitely works in this picture, those rock formation is way cool.

Hi Carolyn ~~ I am wondering where you were when you took this? I am gussing on the other side of an inlet.
If they fell (us old folds worry about things like that) they would have skinned or broken knees like I get.
Great picture. Happy MW Blues. Thank you for peeking in. I am finding time this week to answer comments. Please come back and look around. :)
