This photo was edited with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Topaz Adjust 4.
I bumped up the exposure ever so slightly and adjusted the shadows to bring out the green leaves.
The theme is the letter E

In Singapore and Malaysia, the Frangipani is known as Graveyard Flower. You see them grown in Muslim cemeteries. The local natives, the Malays believe it is a favourite shelter of ghosts and demons. In Malay folklore, the scent of this flower has often been linked to the vampire.
The Polynesian ladies however like to wear this flower behind their ears.

I like them both, but the edited one gives it more umphf!
Actually I prefer the first one, the natural one, cause those flowers (fleur de frangipanier) smell so good on the picture... Thanks for this lovely sharing, full of memories of my childwood in Africa for me.
That's a great idea for the letter E. I like both version but I think the first one is my favorite.
A Great E word. I personally like the first one the best. But both are lovely.
Plumeria is such a pretty flower. I liked all the different colors that I saw while in Hawaii.
You are getting SO good at editing! Really terrific shots and great ones for the E Day! Enjoy the rest of your week, Carolyn!

I just took this big sigh because your photos are so beautiful, edited and all. Thank you :)
very stunning flowers.
This flower is associate with death, because they are used as wreaths in chinese funeral long time ago. The malays would call this the dead chinese flowers. Nowadays they are abundance along our roads and parks.
I love editing - I quite like Windows live photo galery - even the most dismal shots can be resurrected! Yours are quite outstanding!
Thanks so much

Love both shots and editing was a great choice for E. I do like the first better because the colors of the flowers pop a bit more.
I like both photos. I started learning how to use Adobe Photoshop in a photography class which I attend every other week. It is more difficult than I thought!
A couple of beauties Carolyn - edited and un.
Carolyn, stop by my blog to pick up an award. I hope someday we will be able to meet!
