This sea dragon is actually very colorful against an intense blue sky.
He is along the waterfront in San Diego near Seaport Village.
I think he looks a little devilish in black and white.

I agree, he looks much more fearsome in B & w than he would in colour.
Very groovy subject!

nice shot!
Oh, I love it! He looks a little stern, but the monochrome treatment works well.
I like the way the sea dragon looks so much in black and white.
I LOVE the photographs in the post before this one of Chase and his reflection in the train windows. Those would also be good in monochrome although I love them in color too.
I agree. He looks to be a bit of a devil. I think it's a great subject in B&W.
It looks nice and friendly ;)

Whoa, love how you made that dragon come to life, Carolyn! Amazing! :)
Thanks for your comment :-)
He looks like a very kindly dragon ;-D
Great shot ... cute dragon :o)
Cute but not necessarily something I would want to wake up to...
So clear and wonderful in b/w! Really a great photo!!
I looked at your colored photo and this and I actually like this one. B & W gives a very sharp look.
