Union Station, Los Angeles, California USA
This is a major Amtrak and Metrolink hub for southern California.
I sometimes take my 3 year old grandson on day trips to Los Angeles by train.
He loves days like this!

Awesome! Wonderful reflections of a beautiful building. I want to take my youngest son to 30th St Station in Philadelphia soon, so I'll be on the lookout for reflections!
Very cool shot...I really love old stations...Peace
It's so different from the european stations, at least french ones..Beautyful picture, i like its mood!
Have a nice week-end!
Great photo, Carolyn, with many cool reflections. It is even better enlarged. Train stations are so interesting.

What a beautiful image. It reminds me of a painting. I've only been in this station once but I barely remember because I was on my way to navy boot camp in San Diego. :)
What a neat place - one of your photo hangouts?
Looks more like a posh hotel than a station!
HA ! I wouldn't like to be the one in charge of scrubbing the floor O_o... Great picture !
What a lovely station and beautiful reflections.
That floor is glistening with those reflections - looks very grand indeed.
Have a lovely weekend :) Rosie
What a beautiful station and I like the reflections carolyn.
That makes a great day trip, with lunch at Olvera Street or Philippe's. It's one of the few things I miss about Los Angeles.
I understand that the boy loves that! The photo is great! (we do not have trainstation here in my town)
Have a great evening:-)
wow, nice station reminds me of churches, great tile works and elegant lightings. jazevox
Now that is a polished floor!
How beautiful it looks. I guess it never crossed my mind that a train station could be this clean and lovely. ;)
Such brilliant colors and light. The reflections are marvelous. Old train stations are wonderful places (or can be). This shot looks almost like a painting. Great work Carolyn.
Nice reflection, very colorful! Happy Weekend!
We went to LA with the children, only traveled by Taxi. Would have loved to travel by train and see your lovely reflection.
Tomorrow, On Scenic Sunbday, I post my Hotel Hilton specially for you.
Such a beautiful station.
Happy Weekend Reflections Carolyn.
That is such a lively photo of a beautiful station. I like the movement of the people. It works very well here.
Boy all train stations should look this beautiful I love the reflections my friend. Very well done. :) Have a wonderful Saturday :)
What a pretty place! Terrific reflections - they add to all the hustle and bustle.
You captured the beauty of this station very well! Train stations always look a lot nicer than cold, utilitarian airports - probably best NOT to try this at the airport either ;-)
Ships then trains will your next post be a plane? LOL Love your photo
Great reflection.
Lovely shot! It has a vintage feel to it :-)
Great pic of a beautiful station!
Nice symmery in the photo. What a lovely building and the floor is so shiny.
I just googled to look at the outside of the building - nice. It has such a holiday feel with the palm trees...
Very cool shot! I lived in LA for 20 something years and visited this place more than a few times. Even caught a train or two from there up to Monterey. Love the design.
The reflections are great Carolyn but there is something that I find even more amazing about this shot. When I enlarged your photo I thought I was looking at a fine painting. Well done.
this is an excellent capture, the place looks so busy and the reflection is great.
Very nice shot - the tones are great! What a neat idea to ride the train with your grandson. He'll always treasure that.
Jolie photo. Et la gare est très belle.
Beautiful reflection.
That's a really cool shot - I love the colors - how'd you do that? Is it HDR?
