These giant ornaments adorn the parking lot at the South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, California. Notice how big they are compared to the bushes and trees around them!
It is always a pleasure to stop and enjoy this water feature when shopping at the South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, California. The skylight above always makes the water sparkle.
These days just before Christmas are even more special with our little grandson, Chase. We took him to see Santa Claus...he didn't want anything to do with sitting on his lap. But, if Santa came to him with a candy cane...that was another story. And, he did! Chase got a candy cane from Santa without sitting on the old guy's lap! Riding the carousel with reindeer was another fun part of our time at the mall...first with grandpa and then with grandma!
The Christmas tree at this shopping mall is quite tall. The base (on the first level of the mall) is decorated with snowy hills and tunnels complete with a beautiful train to delight the eyes of all. Above is this Santa Claus which is actually on the second level of the mall. Above all of that is the top of the tree which rises to the third level and upwards to nearly the ceiling. The last photo is a small part of the fence that surrounds the entire tree, which is beautifully decorated with greenery, white lights and lush red bows. We visited all three levels to see and photograph the entire tree!
