These are the Dune Evening Primrose which I found at Anza Borrego State Park, California USA.
These desert wildflowers are quite abundant on the desert floor of this area right now.
They are found growing in the desert sand amongst other colorful wildflowers.
This is the Desert Lily also found at Anza Borrego State Park yesterday.
I will venture to say this flower is far less common since this is the only one I saw all day.
Wonderful flowers, Carolyn! They are both beautiful flowers but the Desert Lily is gorgeous and my favorite.
Theses specific desert flowers are so delicate and beautiful and so special for me, as I can't see them in real life living very far away from desert zones.
Gorgeous flowers...the Desert Lily is STUNNING!
I bet the ground is all covered with those blooms! I am so thankful for the rain, it gave nature's wild to enjoy!
Pure and delicate.
Lovely captures Carolyn.
Simply Gorgeous! Love the last shot.
My entry. Have a blessed Sunday!
Wonderful photo's from the flowers :-)
So sweet .....
Did we walk right by one another and not know it? We we're there Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, Coyote Canyon on Thursday.
Weren't the flowers beautiful? You got some nice shots, I'll have mine up soon.
They are lovely!
Wildflowers very often outshine our garden varities.
It is a dream of mine to see the desert in the springtime, especially when I see beautiful photographs such as these. Fantastic!!! Have a great week Carolyn and thank you for sharing with Today's Flowers.
Lovely white blooms..
Wonderful captures of the wildflowers, Carolyn!
They are both beautiful wildflowers! How lovely!
So very beautiful, no wonder I could not recognize it since I had never seen one before. Here we only have yellow and pink.
