The exploding mud pots of Wai-O-Tapu are fascinating and stinky!
They seem to have a rhythm to their gurgles and pops...
We walked around the area as far as the trail would allow us to go.
We tried to catch the mud in mid-air as it popped...gotta be quick!
Mother Nature is AMAZING!
There seems to be a little more green on this side.
Some pretty blue hues, too!
Fascinating...
...now for some close-ups back at the original viewpoint...trying to catch the 'pop'!
So unpredictable!
But, always changing...
A little more drama here!
