True Colours Thursday, That's My World Tuesday / Balloons at the Park

My 2 year old grandson had a great time with some balloons at the park today. Eventually, they got tangled and he broke the ribbon that was tangled around his ankle...you can guess what happened next!
I even bought a weight so he wouldn't lose them...who would have thought he would break the ribbon? It turned out that he loved seeing his balloons in the sky...so all is well that ends well!

Camera Critters #80 / The Geese at Prado Regional Park

My 2 year old grandson and I went to Prado Regional Park today. It's a man made lake with a very nice playground for children which includes a water yard for warm summer weather. The park has many water birds, especially ducks and geese. Several geese came to visit us and followed us around and really wanted our lunch. I had to sit my grandson up on the table so he wouldn't lose his turkey sandwich! The geese soon followed us to the playground and began having their own fun with the water yard! I don't know why the water suddenly came on...it was a windy and rather cool day. We were the only ones in the park besides a few fishermen...but, the water came on big and strong! The geese had a good time playing in the water...curious to me as it is. They have a huge lake but they preferred the childrens' playground?

My little grandson was thoroughly amused with all the goose action today...and so was I!

Enjoy!
