Shadow Shot Sunday #68 / Mission San Juan Capistrano, California
This hallway is outside Serra Chapel at Mission San Juan Capistrano, California...constructed in 1782. It forms the boundaries of the Central Courtyard.
Oh, so lovely! I love the pattern struck by the arches. I lived in S. CA for 20 years and sadly, never made it to Mission San Juan Capistrano. I drove by it a thousand times. Truly regretful.
I love the way you shot this photo. Something about a long walkway that is so appealing. Plus the old adobe and light... perfect. It has been so long since I have been there. Thank you for your visits! Tammie Spirithelpers
Marvelous perspective to show off these wonderful shadows! Makes me want to drive down to the mission and visit sometime soon. It's been years since I've done so. Hugs and blessings,

Fascinating old walkway! The shadows create a visual sense of history around and beyond those old walls!

Lovely! I like the feeling of being drawn into that long brick walkway!
I wonder how the view sitting on that bench might look.
very pleasing architectural shadows...
Fantastic photo... I love how I feel like I can actually walk right into that and if I was a young girl, I'd be dancing around each column!
You caught the perspective perfectly - those arc form a great pattern and the shadows follow that line! Nice place to explore!
