We had some overcast days earlier this week with some dramatic skies in the early evenings. These skies have now been replaced with lots of blue and the weather is HOT again. We do have a lot of variety out here in southern California! But, I thought these skies were awesome! The best part is this sky was full of "real" clouds and not "smoke."

You have captured such beautiful skies. Both photos are stunning...I am partial to "lonesome pines". Glad the smoke is clearing, had a taste of it this summer for the first time and do not know how you handle that continuously. Thanks for sharing.

Oh wow ... what absolutely MAGNIFICENT photos! I love the way you've captured the light and am glad I didn't miss this one. Better late than never, right? It's been a BUSY time for me but I'm back from my Power Point class doing what I can to catch up today.
