Today's Flowers #56 / Koi Pond & Water Lilies at Mission San Juan Capistrano










The water lilies at Mission San Juan Capistrano are delightful. There are 2 ponds, one near the Great Stone Church and the other in the Central Courtyard. Both are full of koi and water lilies and I could linger at each forever!

I really like the reflection in the first photo...

I'm really liking that first one - the two different heights, the water, the colors. It's very Monet like in its composition.

Lovely series of water lilies! I have a pond in my healing garden and am in awe each time a new lily blossoms...many times 3 at a time!!
