That's My World Tuesday / Making Pumpkin Spiders

It's nearly Halloween and the enthusiasm is kicking into high gear now. My little 2 year old grandson knows he's going to be a pirate and so is his daddy! His mommy will be a wench! They will go to a Halloween party where everyone will be in a costume. This will be his best Halloween yet!

We spent the morning outside on the patio making pumpkin spiders! I got the idea from my blogging friend, Shannon! Thank you Shannon! Chase really liked punching holes in the little pumpkins and sticking pipe cleaners into them to make 8 legs! Wow! He now knows that spiders have 8 legs...Then he glued on eyes! Very simple and a whole lot of fun...But, Grandma helped too!

Perfect way for young children to do some fun with the pumpkin without using the knife - I will let me children do that to, Maria Berg Sweden

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE em! I need to get some of those BIG buggy eyes for next year! Where did you pick em up? Love all the different gourds, too! VERY cool! You are welcome for the idea... we do crazy things with pumpkins every year... this time it was my 4 year old that started the whole spider idea! :)
