PhotoHunter / Free Week

I spent an afternoon driving around this area looking for abandoned houses, barns, and broken down fences. I found a lot to photograph. This is just one...I have more to share soon.

This old abandoned barn is in the dairy country of Chino, California. Dairy farms were once thriving way of life here but, now, many have been taken over by housing developments and other businesses. This land, I am sure, will be a housing development in the near future! Sadly, this old photogenic and abandoned barn will be gone and the historical value of this area will go with it.

Such lovely barns, it really is a pity that they will be gone in the near future...
Nice shots, though!
Happy PH, my entry is here.

Farming is a hard way of life, but it's even harder to see it fall to development.

I like these pictures. But we also have the same situation in the rural areas in our prefecture.
