That's My World Tuesday / Wave Action!

One of my favorite things to do is to watch the ocean and the crashing waves...the bigger the better! And even better yet, is to get memorable photographs of the action. This past weekend we were driving south on U.S. Highway 1 near San Simeon, California. We stopped to enjoy this view and I became eager to linger for quite some time. The color of the bluffs, birds, and turbulent waves made for a perfect show! We nearly had the whole scene to ourselves.

What a beautiful place. I love the shots of the seabirds and ocean waves, and especially the great capture of the ocean spray in action.

Carolyn: These are certainly beautiful captures at the ocean. Next week try to do the My World post on Monday afternoon so more people see it.

Wow! those are big and tall waves, if I may describe that! Very scenic especially those gulls flying!

Wow, what a great job of capturing the crashing waves. We camped at San Simeon earlier this year, it's a beautiful area.

You did an excellent job of photographing the waves. All great shots and I really love the one where you captured the birds in flight too.
