The edge of the very scenic bluffs at Ragged Point, California are home to lots and lots of Aloe plants. The bright orange flowers are an amazing contrast to the blue sky and ocean beyond!

I've never seen aloe bloom like that, almost like a torch lily. Bottom photo is my fave. Wonderful!

Those are fabulous photos and very exotic! I wish I could have those in my garden....*smile*.
I love the blue sky in the background - I haven´t seen a blue skye for weeks now!

I have an aloe houseplant, but have never seen one growing in the wild. Nor have I seen its beautiful flowers. Wonderful pictures of a very special plant!

Also, fabulous pictures of the handsome pelican.

What a striking and beautiful plant. I also love the shot of the bird in the next post.

The colour of flower is gorgeous and I also adore the shape. They'd look marvelous in my garden if only they were hardy enough!

Beautiful blooms, but like most of the others I have never seen aloe bloom that way before. I must be down south at the wrong time of the year.

I have never seen wild aloe plants. I love the third photo the most.
