Carolyn, this is a gorgeous photo - the sky, the reflection, the unusual colors, the boats, your framing.

[The best times for visiting anywhere in China is Apr/May and Sep/Oct... and there are many stunning places to see (just like in the USA) - not only what you get in the news there. Part of that haze was there already 25 years ago when I first went, so it's not all just pollution. Come oooon over! :-) ]

Yikes that is a garish colour coming from that building, but it certainly makes for an entrancing reflection. To some extent it reminds me of a stage setting on Broadway, say 'South Pacific'. Especially with all those palm trees, which I had to convince myself were really and not just mega-decals on the side of the building. Terrific composition ... sooo much to look at.
