Weekend Reflections / Union Station, Los Angeles, California USA

Union Station, Los Angeles, California USA
This is a major Amtrak and Metrolink hub for southern California.
I sometimes take my 3 year old grandson on day trips to Los Angeles by train.
He loves days like this!

Awesome! Wonderful reflections of a beautiful building. I want to take my youngest son to 30th St Station in Philadelphia soon, so I'll be on the lookout for reflections!

What a beautiful image. It reminds me of a painting. I've only been in this station once but I barely remember because I was on my way to navy boot camp in San Diego. :)

Looks more like a posh hotel than a station!

That makes a great day trip, with lunch at Olvera Street or Philippe's. It's one of the few things I miss about Los Angeles.

Now that is a polished floor!
How beautiful it looks. I guess it never crossed my mind that a train station could be this clean and lovely. ;)

Such brilliant colors and light. The reflections are marvelous. Old train stations are wonderful places (or can be). This shot looks almost like a painting. Great work Carolyn.

You captured the beauty of this station very well! Train stations always look a lot nicer than cold, utilitarian airports - probably best NOT to try this at the airport either ;-)

Nice symmery in the photo. What a lovely building and the floor is so shiny.

I just googled to look at the outside of the building - nice. It has such a holiday feel with the palm trees...

Very cool shot! I lived in LA for 20 something years and visited this place more than a few times. Even caught a train or two from there up to Monterey. Love the design.

The reflections are great Carolyn but there is something that I find even more amazing about this shot. When I enlarged your photo I thought I was looking at a fine painting. Well done.
