Weekend Reflections / Borrego Springs Resort and Country Club, California USA

After being out on the desert floor all afternoon checking out the desert wildflowers, we relaxed at the Borrego Springs Resort and Country Club for dinner.
Borrego Springs, Anza Borrego Desert State Park, California USA
The outdoor dining area is right in front of this beautiful water scene...full of the reflections I am always craving to find.

The reflections became more intense as the sun dropped closer to the rim of the mountains behind me.

This coyote was interested in a duck dinner and a big drink of
water.

Oh Maaaannnn.... sigh. Beautiful place, wish I was there!

We have coyotes here too, invaded our little development fairly recently. So far I've seen only one, didn't get a photo though.

What an amazing place on Earth. Your reflection photos are gorgeous. My favorite is the second one with that "lonely island".
I hope you've found beautiful desert flowers too and bring them to Macro Flowers Saturday.

I remember driving through that desert in spring, oh so long ago. The flowers were amazing. Lovely reflections Carolyn.

WOW These are all beautiful my friend. I like the second one as I like the stillness of the water and the color of it. They are just awesome. Have a great weekend :)

In your first shot, I like the way the jet d'eau makes the reflection disappear!the second is perfect! Is it usual to see coyotes so near?!

Nice shots Carolyn. The first one is my favorite. Thanks for dropping by and commenting on my B&W images. The light was perfect and I was the only person in the 52.7 acre park at the time. Lovely.
